Fast Food Nation (2006) - ( 7/10) - A well written script with a fantastic ensemble cast make this movie a must-see! Not to mention the entire premise of the story is revealing, sick, sad, and funny (a couple of times) at the same time. If you eat fast food...like most people do...then you need to see this movie! Science of Sleep (2006) - (6/10) - Brought to you by the same person made Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind..But not nearly as good. This movie is more of mental trip than anything else. The Trailer:


The Motel (2006) - (6.1/10) - Puberty sucks. It sucks even more if you're an awkward boy working and living at the family-owned motel. A motel always filled with low lives and prostitutes. The trailer:


300 (2006) - (6/10) - I had been looking forward to this movie since they showed the very first footage back at comic con last year....and well...It didn't meet my expectations. Visually stunning. Great battle sequences. No character development so it's completely impersonal and you don't care at all about what happens to the characters. The good guys and bad guys are way too oversimplified and one dimensional. Way too much slow motion usage...At time I thought I was watching a John Woo movie! The movie could have a full 30 minutes shorter if they got rid of 50% of the slow motion! So it's a decent popcorn flick and not much else.
