Quick 14 Movie Round Up

Drive Thru (2007) - (6/10) - This movie is great because it knows exactly what it is - a teen-slasher-b-movie-comedy-horror - and therefore doesn't take itself seriously at all without being too harsh on itself. The killer in the movie is a fast food chain mascot called "Horny The Clown" for goodness sake! I enjoyed but it is definetly for fans of the genre only.

Lonely Hearts (2006) - (4/10) - On the complete other side of the film spectrum..This movie is way too "Look at me I'm serious so please give me critical acclaim and awards". No thanks.


Caffeine (2006) - (5.5/10) - A mediocre comedy revolving around a single day in a diner / coffee shop. Kinda like the poor man's clerks 2 and Waiting. It has a decent cast (Katherine Heigl is always a good thing!) and a few funny moments.

Dark Ride (2006) - (5.5/10) - A bunch of college kids spend the night in a canrival ride home to a psycho. That's all you need to know.


Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End (2007) - (8/10) - Hella fun.

Alone With Her (2006) - (7.7/10) - Movies never creep me out..But this certainly got close! It's about a guy who stalks a girl using hidden cameras and then uses what he learns about her to get close to her. The entire movie is shot using hidden camera points of view and is very original. Check it out!


Black Sheep (2006) - (6.5/10) - Killer sheep! Fun times!


Epic Movie (2007) - (3.5/10)


Knocked Up (2007) - (7.7/10) - Not as funny or as good as the 40 year Old Virgin but still great fun. It's much more of a relationship movie than a flat out comedy. I enjoyed the cast A LOT..Pretty much every character/actor was fun to watch.


True Romance (1993) - (7/10)


The Ex (2007) - (5.5/10) - Zach Braff was the only reason this movie is even mediocre.
